Before you start
The gut’s ability to absorb nutrients, whether it is from food or from the foodstate supplements, will be significantly improved if the body has first been cleansed of harmful toxins, and the intestinal tract replenished with healthy flora.
It is of particular benefit in today’s environment with our increased exposure to harmful toxins from so many sources. It is our recommendation to pre-empt any dietary/nutritional program with a cleanse, and to repeat it twice per year.
To this extent we recommend that before you start on your required formula you undertake our Detox Formula which involves 3 products that provide a very effective cleanse program that will enhance your health and wellbeing.

Introduction
The prostate is a chestnut-sized gland surrounding the upper end of the male urethra, just below the bladder. Men are most commonly affected in their early to mid-fifties and can experience difficulty in urinating, frequent (but ineffective) urination, and nocturea (the need to urinate frequently during the night). The prostate can sometimes be associated with pain or discomfort around the anus and between the legs, which could indicate signs of an enlarged prostate.

forming and alkali-
forming foods. The optimum balance is around 60% alkali-
forming to acid-
forming. See
Acid Forming and
Alkali Forming guidelines.
Take plenty of fresh water. Good quality still mineral water from a glass container is the superior form; though a good tap filter is also satisfactory.
Enlarged prostate and other symptoms of discomfort have been associated with diets high in saturated fat, hydrogenated oils and processed foods, low in minerals, especially zinc, inadequate intake of fresh fruit and vegetables and essential fatty acids are consistently implicated with enlarged prostate and prostatitis. Cultures which consume a high level of fresh foods and low prepared foods with fats and oils have been shown to have a low incidence of prostate dysfunction.
